I purchased a Range Rover Evoque from Merlin Performance via Autotrader. When I enquired about the vehicle I spoke to David on the telephone and asked for a totally honest description of the cars good and bad bits, I also requested other information like the vin number, how many owners, evidence of service history etc. After which he gave an extremely detailed and honest description of the vehicle and also forwarded the requested documentation to me via What’s App. After hearing David’s breakdown of the car and receiving all the requested documentation I decided to make an offer on the car with the intentions of buying the next day, subject to viewing and all being as described, he then came back with a counter offer which I accepted.
On arriving the next day I was greeted by David, he handed me the keys and let me view the car without applying any pressure on me what so ever, this took me the best part of 30-45 minutes, the car was in outstanding condition for its age and mileage and had been prepared and cleaned to an extremely high standard, David had not exaggerated the condition one iota.
I requested a test drive and David promptly put trade plates on the car and away I went, again no pressure applied. On returning from the test drive I was extremely happy with everything and decided to go ahead with the purchase. All the paper work was completed seamlessly and the vehicle was transferred to my possession.
I also met Davids Business Partner ‘Lewis’. They were both very knowledgeable about the car industry and were both very professional, polite, honest and of course very charming. At no stage did they apply any pressure on me to make the purchase and also made the process of buying a car uncomplicated and a great experience.
I would highly recommend purchasing a car from Merlin Performance, either online or face to face.

Great friendly service, I've had many BMWs before but never a true M series. David, Lewis and team took the time to take me through the key differences and put me at ease. Extremely knowledgeable and patient team, their passion for cars and customer service shines through. Speedy and professional sorting Finance and admin with great communication throughout the process. Test drove on Thursday afternoon, picking up Saturday morning with car ready and new MOT, Great job!
